Kombat Arts is hosting Professor Salem Assli for a two day seminar November 27th & 28th.  This is a great opportunity to train in Jun Fan JKD, Savate, and Kali under a full instructor from the Inosanto Academy.    The seminar runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm both days with an hour break for lunch (that's 4hrs of training on both days), and the cost is only $100 for the weekend if pre-paid by November 11th ($130 at the door).

All Trinity students are encouraged to attend.  If you would like to do rank testing in Jun Fan, Kali, Savate, or Muay Thai under the Professor please contact me through email to make arrangements to do so during the seminar.

The Trinity Martial Arts Stress Inoculation Course is a research-based self-defense program designed to enable participants to react effectively and intelligently under extreme levels of stress. Years into its development, this course addresses the effects of stress on the body while engaged in combat and systematically inoculates students through a unique combination of measured exposure and stress management techniques. Students will partake in realistic scenario training and will leave the course with a greater understanding of both their abilities and limitations.

One of the most important breakthroughs in the development of a martial arts practitioner is the understanding that what one can do in the dojo or on the mats does not necessarily translate into what one can do on the street under the stress of combat. This course will help narrow the gap between perceived and actual ability in combat.

Scott Redstone (Instructor):

Scott Redstone, is a law enforcement officer with over 20 years of martial arts experience.

Scott is ranked as a full instructor under Professor Salem Assli in Jun Fan Gung Fu, Filipino Kali, and Savate (Silver Glove). He is a certified instructor for the Reflex Women's Self Defense program, and is also a certified instructor in Jaw & Limb Control, Professional Hand Cuffing, and Extendable Baton under Phil Messina.
